4v4 Event Details

4v4 Pre-Season
I wanted to make a more organized thread for this event now that it's beginning to take shape. Instead of making players search through 20+ pages of comments to find answers I will try to keep this first post updated with the most current information as progress continues. The 4v4 Arena section of the forums is pretty dead, so I'm putting it here for now, mods are welcome to move it somewhere else.

The Five W's
Who?
Everyone! If you play Global Agenda you should participate in this event - it does not matter how casual or competitive you are.

What?
The pre-season event is a casual 4v4 competition open to all players. Teams are welcome to use any composition (you can play one of each class or something completely ridiculous - it's up to you!). After the event begins registered teams will use the new "/challenge" feature (added in the next patch) to play 4v4 matches against other teams. A scoring system, resembling the current 4v4 ranking system on AgendaStats, will be in place for fun and for testing. You are allowed to play any teams you want, but you will gain points based on the quality of your opponents. You will be asked to complete 10 or more preseason games. Simply challenge any registered teams in game, they do not need to be scheduled or played at any specific time and you can play anyone you like. The event site will have a list of teams and their records to assist you in finding good games.

When?
The event is planned to begin on November 1st, though this may need to be slightly adjusted based on the timing of the coming game patch (hopefully not). The event will be open for 2 full weeks, giving everyone plenty of time to complete the required games. Registration will begin a week prior to the event start (10/25) or earlier and will continue throughout the event to allow for maximum participation.

Where?
All of the event functions and data will be available on AgendaStats.com. Keep an eye on the site for updates and event information. You can begin forming teams at any time, or sign up for the free agent list if you are looking for a team.

Why?
You should participate because it's going to be fun, you'll get to help test all of this new functionality and be a part of the competitive community. I want everyone's input on what they would like to see in the future - including both casual and highly competitive events. And as mentioned before every participant will get awesome "Horus: The God of War" limited edition head flair:

These are things I'm currenly working on and I will keep this post updated with new information as I continue development.

Team Management Features: I am aware that you cannot currently leave, delete, or kick members from teams. This will be up as soon as possible this week.

Registration: Registration for the event will be open for a week prior to the event and continue throughout the duration of the event. It's not open yet but expect to see it on or before 10/25 (a week before the event is scheduled to begin).

How much do I have to play?
To receive the flair you will be asked to complete 10 event games.

Does my region matter?
No. Teams can declare their preferred region and find matches against other teams with the same preference. You can play cross region if you want, it's fully up to the teams to decide which games they want to play and when they want to play them.

Does our record matter?
I plan to have a ranking system up for fun, but you will still receive the event flair regardless of performance.
